History in 60 – Wisconsin

One Wisconsin history story in sixty seconds, for phones. Public-domain photographs, slow camera moves, a narrator voice made on a Mac, and a source report behind every fact.

AI-generated narration; one shot is an illustration and is labeled on screen as not a historical photograph. Photographs: Wisconsin Historical Society and Library of Congress. The Capitol Fire, 1904 (1:02).
Format
Vertical 9:16 short, about 60 seconds, subtitled
Status
Pilot, built Oct 21, 2026.
Made with
History in 60 Studio (UltraSoft), a local voice model, Final Cut Pro

How it was made

  1. Research human + local
A story is researched with numbered facts and sources. Pictures come from Wikimedia Commons and the Library of Congress.
  2. Check rights human
Every photograph is confirmed public domain on its holder’s record. Illustrations are labeled on screen instead.
  3. Write and voice local AI
Narration is generated on the Mac: one designed narrator voice, cloned for every line so it stays the same across stories.
  4. Build local
The Studio builds the animatic with slow camera moves, a Final Cut timeline with subtitles, and a source report.
  5. Approve human
Publishing is blocked until every picture is checked and the lesson page is done.

Inside History in 60 Studio

Every story runs through one dashboard: where it stands, when it happened, and where in Wisconsin. Every picture keeps its source and rights, and anything made with AI is labeled as an illustration, never passed off as a photograph.

History in 60 Studio dashboard: thirteen stories by stage, a timeline by decade, and a map of Wisconsin with each story placed
